Myotein Review – The Truth About This Product.

The weight loss community is growing increasingly distrusting of diet pills, after products lacking in legitimacy have resulted in people similar to yourself giving products that are fake their money. Quickly taking the place of diet pills as the most popular form of health supplement is the diet shake. These (hopefully) tasty and nutritious shakes are frequently designed to serve as meal replacements, delivering you with energetic means that provide possibilities for your energy to persist all day as well as things comprised in their formulas that will result in your superior body shape. I imagine that anyone would rather drink a tasty chocolate shake than take a diet pill, so it makes sense that shakes of the variety of meal replacements more popular than ever.

When the fact is considered that the existence of so many items are present, consideration must be possessed for how to select the correct item for your desires. I possess the potential to be your assistant in aiding you to make this selection; join my inspection of this popular item to widen your knowledge about food stand-in drinks.

Do You Know the Best Diet Shakes of 2023?

What is It?

Myotein is a powdered drink mix that looks like it should work pretty well as a protein supplement. However, if you’re looking for a weight loss beverage to take the place of your meals and help you eliminate some calories from your diet, I don’t know if Myotein is going to really help you. Let’s take a closer look at what Myotein can and can’t do so we can see if it’s the right product for your needs.

Who Makes It?

Myotein is made by a supplement company named XPI Supplements can be purchased directly from their official site for $59.95 per bottle. Each bottle contains 30 servings, so depending on whether you use this product once or twice in a day, it looks like one order could last you from two to four weeks. Still $60 is a bit pricey for a supplement like this. You can probably find something a little more inexpensive. Myotein comes with a 90-day 100% refund guarantee which allows you to return product as long as it is in an unused condition. I just have a bit of an issue with this however since company doesn’t define what it means by an unused condition.

EDITOR'S TIP: Combine this supplement with a proven diet shake such as 18SHAKE for better results.

Does Myotein Work?

There are some good reviews of Myotein online, but the majority of them fail to really mention weight loss. A lot of people who use this product use it to develop their muscles, not shed pounds. If you’d like a supplement to help you bulk up, Myotein doesn’t seem like a bad option. But it’s not an ideal way to cut carbs, replace meals or lose weight. It looks like nothing more than just a protein supplement.

Myotein’s Ingredients and Dosage

The following nutritional information is available on XPI Supplement’s and Myotein’s packaging:

Amount Per Serving Percent Daily Value
Calories 112 N/A
Calories from fat 0 N/A
Total Fat 0 g 0%
Saturated Fat 0 g 0%
Trans Fat 0 g 0%
Cholesterol 0 mg 60 mg
Total Carbs 0 g 0%
Dietary Fiber 0 g 0%
Sugars 0 g N/A
Protein 28 g 56%

This information allows us to learn some pretty important things about Myotein. Perhaps the three most vital aspects you should be paying attention to while considering a meal replacement beverage like this one are the product’s calories, fiber and protein, so let’s examine each of these aspects.

Calories and Fat:

According to the above nutritional information, a single serving of Myotein contains 112 calories. That’s not too bad for a product like this. While some meal substitution drinks contain as few as 90 or 80 calories, many can contain up to 200 calories – nearly twice the amount of those found in Myotein. It also doesn’t look like any of these calories come from fat. In fact, Myotein’s formula does not contain any kind of fat at all, so you don’t have to bother figuring out if Myotein qualifies as a high or low fat product by FDA standards.

While counting calories can be helpful, a product’s fiber is arguably more important than that. Drinks like this are intended to take the place of the high-calorie meals that you are accustomed to eating. You use a shake like this as a substitute for a few meals a day to eliminate calories gradually lose weight. However, by cutting out most of the food you’re used to eating, you’re probably going to start feeling hunger pangs throughout the day. Those may tempt you to snack in between meals, which kind of negates the purpose of using a dieting shake at all. This is why drinks like this include fiber in their formulas: to fill you up in between shakes and meals and stop you from eating and snacking throughout the day.

Unfortunately, Myotein does not contain any fiber whatsoever. Given this complete lack of fiber, I have a difficult time seeing how Myotein could work as an adequate meal substitute at all. Other shakes like this commonly contain up to 8 grams of fiber to keep you full and curb your appetite in between shakes and meals. Without any fiber in its formula, Myotein just doesn’t seem like it’d be a very capable or effective replacement for the meals you’re used to eating.

While Myotein has no fat or fiber, it does look like its formula has a pretty decent amount of protein. Looking at its nutritional information, we can see that Myotein has 28 grams of protein, which definitely isn’t bad for a meal substitution product. In fact, it’s almost 10 more grams of protein than can be found in the formulas of a lot of Myotein’s competitors. So Myotein is actually a really good choice for maintaining your muscles  or keeping you feeling energized. In fact, Myotein looks like it’s much better employed to help you work out at the gym than to replace your meals, cut calories and help you shed pounds

Next, let’s examine Myotein’s ingredients:

Whey protein isolate Cocoa Sucralose
Sodium chloride Lactase Natural and artificial flavoring

That’s not a lot of ingredients. It doesn’t look like Myotein contains and vitamins or nutrients that can be found in most formulas for products like this. However, Myotein does contain some artificial ingredients, like the artificial sweetener sucralose. Choosing a product with artificial ingredients over one with an entirely natural formula is never a good choice, as unnatural products are much more likely to result in unhealthy side effects.

Are There Possible Side Effects?

One of the artificial ingredients in Myotein’s formula is sucralose. While this sweetener is in a lot of different diet products, it can actually do bad things to your body. Studies show that sucralose is capable of destroying roughly half of the healthy bacteria that’s in your intestines. It can also increase your intestines’ pH levels and affect your body’s glycoprotein in a negative way, resulting in even more health complications.

You can buy better supplements than this for less money.

Considering how Myotein’s nutritional information makes it clear that its completely lacking in fat and fiber, I doubt that it can do a very good job acting as a substitute for any of your meals. Shakes like this need fiber in their formulas so that they can keep you feeling full. If you cut out meals in favor of these shakes, you’re going to feel hungry, and you’re going to want something to eat in between your meals. This completely defeats the purpose of a meal replacement drink. While these kinds of products usually contain fiber to counteract your hunger and curb your appetite, Myotein’s formula doesn’t have any fiber in it. That means it isn’t going to prevent you from feeling hungry in between meals and that you’re going to want to eat.

Another reason to avoid this product is the presence of artificial ingredients. One of the ingredients you can find in Myotein is sucralose, an artificial sweetener. Not only is sucralose unnatural, but it can result in some bad side effects too. Allegedly, it’s capable of reducing the healthy bacteria in your intestines by 50%. It might be a bad idea to use Myotein if it’s capable of having those kinds of negative effects on your body’s health.

It seems like the only thing Myotein really has going for it is how much protein is in its formula. With 28 grams of protein it looks like Myotein would not be too bad at keeping you feeling energized through your day. It could also probably help in boosting your performance at the gym or helping you build some muscles. However, protein alone won’t help Myotein take the place of some of your meals so that you can cut calories and lose weight. While Myotein is an adequate protein supplement, it’s a bad meal replacement beverage. If you’re looking for something really help you shed pounds, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
