HCG Drops Review – The Truth About This Product.

To some people, the idea of taking a diet pill is a bit overrated. With so many bad pills that have flooded the market, it is incredibly easy to become a jaded individual. For one reason or another, they have grown weary of this form of health supplement, and are looking for an alternative. HCG Drops are that substitute product that asserts the same goals that any diet pill or mixable powder may lay claim to.

HCG stands for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, and was first declared to aid in weight management in 1954 with the release of the book Pounds and Inches, which was written by a Dr. Albert Theodore William Simeon. Since this book’s release there have been an assortment of HCG based products that have graced the market. Some of them may carry the authentic ingredient, while others prefer to use alternatives.

Today we will be covering one such brand that goes by (in my opinion) the pretty generic name of HCG Drops. So what’s the real deal behind actual HCG Drops? Find out below.

What is it?

Unlike diet pills, HCG Drops come with a dropper, that may look the same as the kind that you apply to your eyes. In this case however, drops are applied under the tongue. These drops don’t come alone, as when people purchase them, they are also buying into a diet plan as well.

In this plan, it is alleged that people need to ingest no more than 500-1000 calories a day when they take the droplets. The end result of this is that people will begin to lose weight. There are allegations that there is scientific data that supports this, but other than from what Dr. Simeon has stated, I cannot find any independent verification. HCG has been used as a testosterone supplement for men and a fertility aid for women, so any declarations that it aids in people losing weight are unfounded.

There are three separate phases that the dieting plan is composed of. The first is the loading phase, where the user essentially eats whatever they want for a duration of 2-3 days. The next part is the dieting phase where the 500-1000 calorie limit is actually implemented. During this phase the body is detoxified. The third phase is known as the maintenance phase, which is when users keep implementing the tactics they have used, so as to not to fall back into bad habits. It is asserted that this plan may take 3 weeks to have any real impact on users.

EDITOR'S TIP: Combine this supplement with a proven fat burner such as Sletrokor for better results.

Droplets are not the only form that this substance may be absorbed into the body, as it is also possible to do so intravenously. However keeping the convenience of the customer in mind, the company decided that droplets were a better option to supply this substance in.

Who makes it?

Since HCG is found in the urine of women who are pregnant, this means that there is no specific maker of this product. Despite it’s origins HCG that is used in products normally comes from animal sources. In spite of it’s name, there are companies out there that use the the word “HCG” without actually containing the substance.

While there are an array of companies that supply this supplement, the official HCG Drops website lack any mention as to who their creator is. When looking through the “Contact Us” page, I was unable to even find an address of the company either. Top Rated Products don’t have phantom manufacturers such as this one.

Do HCG Drops work?

From what I can tell, HCG Drops really only work when the low-calorie diet plan is included into the blend. Users are instructed to only take in 500-1000 calories a day. Now if you are someone who is accustomed to ingurgitating say, 3000-4000 calories daily, than it seems pretty obvious that you will lose weight from this! Eating less in general is always going to lead to some form of weight loss, so because of this I can’t really say that the drops do anything.

The drops themselves are supposed to be administered along with the diet plan, however as I stated before, I could find no data backing up any assertions that they are in anyway a dynamic liquid concoction.

From what I can tell, the diet really masks any impotency that the drops may have. If users see any results, it may seem like the product is working, when really it’s the diet. On the issue of the diet, because such a low amount of calories are ingested, this means that the body will go into a sort of starvation mode. When this happens metabolism slows down, which is never a result that is optimal for weight loss. It seems pretty obvious to me that once this diet has ended, the weight will be regained as if nothing had even happened.

Users are informed to put 10 drops under the tongue 3 times daily. Users are also instructed not to swallow the droplets, but to let them get absorbed into the bloodstream.

Are there potential side effects?

HCG Drops are far from a product that is free of side effects. There are two levels of side effects that may be experienced by users. The first level is made of mild effects which include: hypoglycemia, depression, constipation, a lethargic metabolic rate, headaches, water retention, diarrhea, insomnia and a heightened potential for gallstones.

The second level of adverse reactions are much more serious. These include: Swelling of the abdominal region, pain associated with the abdomen, weight gain, vomiting and swelling of the lower extremities.

Conclusion

While this concoction comes in a unique form, I cannot say that it actually is as dynamic a product as it asserts. Sure weight may be lost in the process, but I would owe this more to the diet plan than anything. As I said earlier, if you consume less calories in general, weight loss is bound to happen.

This tactic however is not unique to this brand of product. There are other diet pills that also assert the use of a calorie restricted diet to be absolutely essential for their products to work. It is unfortunate that this product lacks any scientific backing, because without that, this is really like taking 30 droplets of a liquid a day with results that amount to nothing.
